Organization and Working

I've been working at home for years. I had a friend tell me that she needed a job. I said, 'well, I can't give you a job, but I can teach you how to make $2000 a month from home.'

She was exstatic for 2 days. Then, she realized that she needed to work at least 10 hours a day, and actually work. Some how - she thought that work at home meant a turn-key website or making money while sipping drinks in the back yard.

Another time I was talking to a person who 'needed' to build a business to take care of his family. I worked with him for 4 hours, taking time away from my own work. Then he said 'Well - I have to go to dinner.' He was full of appologies later 'I have a responsibility to my family' etc. Well hon, I thought, how is your family going to like you when they lose their health insurance?

Work at home is work. You can expect to do boring tasks, repetatively. You can't slack like you would in a home office. It takes determination. It takes a willingness to give 110% just to 'get started.'

But the rewards are balanced again the difficulties and problems. If you are building a home based business - don't dispair. You may not feel like you are making money, but you will.
