Don't Ignore Your Eyes

It is amazing how many work at home professionals ignore their eyes. I've looked at several different methods of eye care. I work in a lighted room. I have a large computer screen. I do not strain or work long periods without a break.

Still, I need glasses. Part of the aging process, I guess. I've looked into several things, but think that I might go for a Lasik procedure. There are a lot of good reports on the surgery.

USAEyes Competence Opinion Relative to Expectation (CORE) patient survey submitted to the FDA panel (April 25) states that Lasik is safe, predictable, but not always perfect. See Report Here. I also included a link to the actual CORE survey.

The report was objective. It did not appear to be a sales pitch or promo item for the procedure. Only 2% reported Lasik complications as 'problematic' but most of this group would consider the surgery again.

When I started looking for a Lasik clinic I found they had popped up everywhere - but most are not certified. I found a list of certified doctors on this website. I was surprised to learn that only 250 doctors are USAEyes certified. USAEyes does not do Lasik themselves. They are a certification association.
