Grandfather Clocks

Do you have an interesting story about grandfather clocks? Do you know someone who owns a grandfather clock?

Isn't it amazing how often people attach status to a valuable clock? I could put a $4000 desk in my office, but it will not have the impact a Howard Millar clock will. You don't even need to add a large clock to a room. Any clock can work at the centerpiece of a room.

also like the styles of the Howard Miller Grandfather Clocks. I like things that are unusual. I never even realized they made unusual grandfather clocks that would fit today's modern styles and colors.

We are redoing our home. It is a 1920 Shaker style. We were going to restore it to the original style. Now we are balancing the old and the new. 'Of course' there is a space in the upstairs hall for a grandfather clock. I hope to put one of these styles in that spot.
