There are a lot of places on the net that pay people to write. One that is perfect for journalists is http://www.brijit.com/ They pay people $5 per summary. This is perfect for people who love to watch news shows, read the Times, own a subscription to the Times Book Reviews, or other periodicals such as The Onion, Business Week, Rolling Stone, ESPN The Magazine, Gourmet, etc. There are even some posts for people who browse Digg and Youtube.
The site offers each summary to 3 writers. They pick the best 100 word summary and pay the write $5.00 - $8.00 for it. The rest revert to the use of the owner who can then use it on their own blog.
Brijit suggests that writers only cover topics they are interested in. There is a style that is predominantly a journalistic style. Don’t expect your first few submissions to be accepted. This is the type of project that a lot of writers give up on quickly. Despite the fact that there are 3 posts at a time, and rarely more than 160 opportunities – there are always opportunities that are untouched. This is a great way to fill in a little spare time, make a few extra dollars between jobs, and sharpen your writing skills
Have you ever gone down a list of resources for 'make money', 'investing' and 'business start up' only to find that the good ones are gone? Here are a few friends I've made over the summer. Each one has taught me something.Learn how to start an email marketing campaign that works - for less than $100. www.waystogetnoticed.com is full of articles to help you build an email list, and market emails. This isn't another email list generating company or an affiliate website. The owner of this site actually owns an email marketing host site. He teaches the 'inside' info on email marketing.
